I have noticed certain aspect tend to point toward having issues within the family. In particular daddy issues.
Saturn conjunct ic
Depending on the astrologer you will hear the fourth house represents the father and the tenth house the mother. This is the rule I use when interpenetrating most chart unless there are other aspects that show other wise. Saturn represents the astrological father not always the biological father of the native but at times can represent both. In this case if Saturn is on the ic no mater which house the conjunction is coming from its interpreted in the 4th house as well. where Saturn is placed is where you are constantly tested in life, where your greatest struggle is so to speak. So in the house of family and the house that symbolizes the father, Saturn being present there could symbolize the father being a very strict disciplinarian or the father dampening the mood within the household. The father may have been verbally, emotionally, and depending on other aspects in extreme cases also abusive.
Chiron conjunct sun
I personally have this aspect and I think when it comes to daddy issues this aspect may take the cake. Chiron being the wound that never heals can make daddy issues an ongoing problem into adulthood. The father may have opinions that bruises the native’s ego. Or the father may or may not realize how often they offend the chart holder. Chiron conjunct sun depending on the sign can show in what area you may have the most issues with your father. In virgo could symbolize the father mindset being an issue for the native, or in cancer showing that the issues may effect the chart holder on an emotional level. The conjunction seen in Pisces could symbolize a father that simply just isn’t present, or in Capricorn father could jut be too strict and a huge disciplinarian.
Chiron opposite sun
Similar to the chiron conjunct sun aspect you are more likely to being in disagreement with your father a lot and it may be on situations that are dear to you. you may feel you have to alter yourself in order to be able to keep the peace. Issues related to the father may cause issues with opposite of sex. Just like the conjunction natives with this aspect usually are able to help others improve their confidence boost ego but have trouble believing in themselves.This aspect could even suggest a father that contributes to the chart holder confidence issues.
Sun conjunct Saturn
Natives with sun conjunct Saturn usually (in my experience) have severe daddy issues but hides these problems well.. This aspect seems to manifest in two different ways. First example, some fathers aren’t present or were hardly present during the natives life and the chart holder has grew a dislike for the dad where they disconnect themselves fully from the father. Choosing to not associate with the father at all. Then there is also the military dad that has strict rules and cruel punishments. The father could be to difficult and hard on the natal chart holder. The father restricts the natives self expression and may expect much out of the hart holder. one thing I found with this aspect is the natal chart holder does a really good job with smiling through the pain. I honestly feel Saturn conjunct sun aspect make soldiers because they always tend to take their lemons and make lemonade.
Notable mentions.
Sun Pluto aspects have been said to indicate daddy issues or a hardly present father. It has been said that sextiles and trines could produce the same results. Any major aspect between sun and Neptune also indicates a missing father. Conjunctions to the ic from Uranus, mars, Pluto, Saturn, Neptune also could symbolize an unstable relationship with your father or domestic life.
